Sir Igor of Galloway ICCF & Awaiting AKC

Sir Igor of Galloway is our foundation male here at Chatham Cane Corsos. He is mostly black with a few brindling points on his front and hind legs. He is ICCF registered, and has a fabulous pedigree. He is a grandson to Champion Cherubs Julian, and he is also a great great great grandson of Champion Scandifio's Armani. Igor has several other champions in his pedigree as well. As you can see from his pictures he is very heavy boned with a large block head. Igor has a wonderful temperment, loves children, and is extremely protective of our home. He is a proven sire, with all the qualities you want in an american corso. He produces puppies with large chiseled heads, and very muscualr chest. ** He is being offered for a limited time as a Stud, but females MUST be approved. We have a puppy sired by him on site, and several pictures of others. Please feel free to call or e-mail with any questions you  may have. **

Chatham's Sir Caspian von Igor is a puppy that we produced here at Chatham Cane Corsos. His parents are Sir Igor and Lady Sadie of Ridgelawn. Caspian turned 2 in August and is currently weighing in at around 130 pounds. He has completed his obidence training and will soon be taking his canine good Citizen. Caspian is registered ICCF and we are waiting to receive is AKC reg. He is extremely protective of our home, and family but out in public he is the perfect gentleman. He too is attached to children and will migrate towards them before adults. He is other animal safe as well as dog friendly.  We are hoping to see wonderful things from him in the future.

Females

Sadie Lady of Ridgelawn (deceased)

It pains me to upate this profile, but unfortunaltely Lady Sadie passed on February 11th, 2011. It was from natural causes, but that still does not make the loss any easier on our family. Sadie impressed us by everything she did,  and she made a perfect fit in our home. She was our foundation female who blessed us with some great puppies/dogs as well as a lot of geat memories. She will be dearly missed!!

Chatham's Lady Sophia ICCF & AKC

Sophia is currently weighing in at 108 pounds. Her grandmother was an import and her father has several champions in his pedigree.  Her color is eye catching, and her confirmation is wonderful. She has passed her Canine good citizen before she turned 6 months and got the star puppy award from AKC. She made her first appearance in the show ring March 26th and 27th 2010, she took 1st in her Class three times. Sophia also took reserve bitch twice, best of bitches, winners dog, best of winners and 3 second places. She earned her 5 pt Major here as well. This was all accomplised in her first show weekend!! We are extremely pleased by her, and excited for the future. Thank you Joe Caton from Safari Kennels! But the most important thing I can say about her is that she was raised by our 2 year old and also belongs to her. She is extremely kid friendly and would perfer them to adults.

Chatham's Princess Aurora ICCF & AKC

Princess Aurora was produced here at Chatham Cane Corso. She is sired by Sir Igor of Galloway and her Dam is Chatham's Lady Sophia. She was whelped on December 06, 2010 and is maturing very nicely. Aurora has already graduated her puppy obedience class where she received the AKC star puppy award as well as passing her canine good Citizen.  Roo made her debut into the ring November 17th -20th, 2011. She came home with first place in Am. Bred 3x2nd place in Am. Bred and a Reserve Winner. Not too bad for competing against dogs much larger and older than herself. We are looking forward to moving on in  January 2012! A special thanks goes out to Kathy Eiler from Safari Kennels!
